• The Carolina Sapphire Arizona Cypress is ideal as a wind barrier, privacy screen, holiday specimen, or even a container plant if pruned a couple of times a year. Song birds and numerous forms of wildlife are all attracted to these cypress trees.
• Full Sun Cypress: Placing the Carolina Sapphire in a location that receives full sun will provide the best conditions for this Cypress. While pruning is not generally needed it can be done. Prune the sides to allow the natural shape to remain while removing no more that 4 inches of foliage.
• USDA Zones: Hardy in USDA zones 6-9, the Carolina Sapphire is adaptable to various climates. It requires regular watering initially to establish a strong root system, after which it becomes drought tolerant, needing less frequent watering.
